# Monitor

> Monitor with BrandGate: what it syncs and how to connect.

> [!NOTE]
>
> Status: **In development**. The current list for your company is in **Settings → Integrations**.

> [!WARNING]
>
> **Draft mapping.** The field names in the table below are an approximation of Monitor's own fields. Confirm them with the vendor before you build; the BrandGate side (endpoints, fields, rules) is final.

## What it syncs

Orders and invoices; availability follows the release gate.

## How to connect

Not built in yet. Connect it through the API below, or ask us at [brandgate.dev/contact](https://www.brandgate.dev/contact).

## Who owns which data

BrandGate stays the invoice sender. The general rules are in the [integration model](/integration-model).

## Limits and known differences

Ask us if your case needs something that is not listed here: [brandgate.dev/contact](https://www.brandgate.dev/contact). Building it yourself? Follow [Build an ERP integration](/build-an-integration).

## Connect it through the API

Building the connection yourself? These are the typical field matches. The steps are the same for every system: [Build an ERP integration](/build-an-integration).

| Monitor | BrandGate |
| - | - |
| Part `Id` / `PartNumber`, `Description`, `SalesPrice` | product `external_id` / `sku`, `name`, `unit_price` |
| Part stock (send the quantity you can sell, not on-hand) | [`POST /v1/inventory`](/guides/erp-sync#3-stock-from-the-erp) |
| Price list `Id` with rows | [price list](/guides/send-data#price-lists-and-customer-prices) `external_id` / `items` |
| Customer `Id`, `Code`, `Name`, `Email`, `VatNo` | `external_id`, `customer_number`, `company_name`, `email`, `vat_number` |
| Customer order `ExternalReference` | BrandGate order `number`; acknowledge with the Monitor order number |

> [!NOTE]
>
> Field names are the ones your ERP usually exposes; check them against your version. Amounts go to BrandGate as decimal strings with at most two decimals (`"299.50"`), so round before you send: ERPs that hold prices as floating-point numbers need `Math.round(x * 100) / 100`.

## What the API cannot hold yet

* Bills of material, lots and warehouse locations: one stock quantity per `sku` only.
* Customer discounts in percent and per-article discount agreements. Send the resulting absolute price in the customer's price list.
* Partial shipments: an order moves to `shipped` as a whole; send it when the last row has left.
